Coffee with Ambassadors
Diplomacy should be a field accessible to all. The Embassy of Kosovo and the Young Diplomat have partnered up to create events and a forum where students and young professionals can meet with ambassadors on a regular basis. These events are called Coffee with Ambassadors. During these sessions a topical issues is discussed with several ambassadors and participants can ask them questions or, even better, provide their point of view. This way, as a participants you provide ambassadors from the field with valuable perspectives. At the same time you get the chance to meet with peers and network with ambassadors from different countries in The Netherlands.
The next session will be on the 7th of October (NEW DATE) from 15.00 till 16.30 at the embassy of Kosovo in The Hague (this session takes place in person) and focus on the how smaller countries conduct diplomacy and are able to have an impact in the international sphere. The panel will be formed by the Ambassadors of Luxembourg, Malta and Kosovo and moderated by Hans van den Berg.
The Panel
The panel will be made up by His Excellency Mr. Mike Hentges, Ambassador of Luxembourg, His Excellency Mr. Jeffrey Curmi, Ambassador of Malta, His Excellency Mr. Dren Doli, Ambassador of Kosovo, and Mr. Hans van den Berg, Director of the Young Diplomat.
HOW TO APPLY
Applications are taken on a rolling basis with a first come first serve approach. There are only limited spots available (25 maximum), so it is important you register on time. Once all spots are filled we will close the application form.
Please note this session takes place in person in The Hague, no online attendance is possible. Make sure, if you register, you are able to join in person in The Hague.
Unfortunately it is not possible to register after the form has been closed. But don't be disappointed a new session is only a couple of months away!
